Committee Changes:
There have been several changes of officials over the Autumn period. Ian Southam stepped down from the role of Vice President (VP) when his 2 year term concluded in October and Aaron Joyce resigned as Regalia Officer soon after. Neil Adderly will take control of the merchandising for the time being, while the role of VP will remain redundant. Secretary Karen Davis will be stepping down from the position once the 2009 renewals have been sent out and Steve Hick (Club Treasurer) will take up Secretarial duties there after. Jeff Buss has returned as National Event Organiser for 2009, while Mick Lee covered the job this year we were fully aware this would be just for 2008.
The club would like to thank Karen, Ian, Aaron and Mick for all their time and effort over the last few years.
Club Renewals:
These will be sent out in early 2009.
Club Constitution:
The FSOC will have a club constitution from 2009 onwards. It has been drawn up with the help of Trev Jenner and outlines what members can expect from the club and the duties of the club committee. It will be published in the Autumn 2008 edition of Jellymould as well as being posted on the club forum at the same time.
Jellymould:
The Autumn 2008 edition is currently being printed. We may delay its posting so it doesn't coincide with the Christmas post, so don't be surprised if it turns up in the first few weeks of January. It will posted on the forum as usual and will also be joined by a further back catalog of club magazines.
Shows:
Jeff is slowly putting together a provisional show list for 2009. Forms will be sent out early in the new year to gauge interest.
Pub Meets:
There have been several pub meets organized in South East area recently and more are planned in 2009. While we don't currently have area reps, the club would like to encourage individuals to arrange pub meets in their area. If you wish to organise one in your area, get in contact with an official and we'll help get the word out.
Forum:
The only major change is Club Officials have been given moderation rights in the Club Section only.
Merchandise:
Neil has a choice of FSOC Keyrings and the club car stickers on sale. The range is set to expand in the new year.
